A VERY exciting weekend for the Green family

Logan went on the potty!!!! If someone had told me on Saturday that Fox was going to go on the potty on Sunday, I would have laughed out loud. However, he surprised me and Sunday night decided to go on the potty three times. It is now 4 0'clock on Monday and we are still accident free. I hope, hope, hope that we are done with diapers for him!

Also, Cache rolled over for the first time on Saturday. He can roll from his back to his tummy.

Hooray for my boys!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOE

Yesterday was Joe's birthday. We had a fun time celebrating his birthday. We ordered Chinese food, ate birthday desert, and just played. Logan helped me make Joe's birthday desert and, as you can see, thoroughly enjoyed himself. We are so grateful for a wonderfully daddy that works so hard to take care of his family. His family loves him very, very much and look forward to him coming home everyday so they can see him.

Our summer

We have had a very busy and fun-filled summer, and of course I have forgotten our camera on most of our outings so we don't have any pictures to show. At the beginning of June we went to Utah for a weekend for our niece, Annie's, baby blessing. It was fun to stay with Heather and Paul. Logan and Lauryn love eachother and have so much fun together. Next came the Cherry Festival, which was a big hit as far as Logan in concerned. That weekend we went with my sister Jenni and her family to my Dad's house and made him Father's Day brunch. The kids loved seeing and riding the horses. For the Fourth of July, Joe took a few days off work and we went to Blackfoot. We had a great time with the Millers, Pahulus, and my mom and Hank. A few weeks after that was our family reunion. It was so much fun to be with all of my family. Logan was on cloud nine the whole time. He was so exhausted every night that he would fall asleep in the car within 3 or 4 minutes of being put into his seat. Logan, Cache, and I just got back from spending a way fun week with my nieces and nephews in Blackfoot.

Fox

Logan is always making me laugh with the things he says and does. I love the way that his two year old little brain works. He is always looking for a good time and has no problem letting me know what he wants "right now!" He loves, almost more than anything else, to play with his cousins and his grandma and grandpa. He also loves to go to church to see his two best friends, Amy and Annie. Everyday he seems to learn something new and I love it. He is getting to be very good at being two, but I won't say more here (I want to keep this post happy and upbeat). I am sure that one day he will decide diapers are for babies and that he is ready to go on the potty. It is not for lack of trying on his mother's part that he is still in diapers.

Cache

Cache is growing so fast. He has very quickly gone from a newborn who always sleeps and eats to a very alert 3 month old. He is all smiles and is starting to laugh quite a bit. He will reach out and hit the toys on his floor gym. He has also just learned how to roll onto his sides. He is getting to be pretty strong and is starting to control his movements a little better. Most nights he will sleep for one 6-8 hour stretch, which has been wonderful!

Our Boys!

So, Joe and I LOVE having two little boys. They are always making us laugh and we are amazed at the things they learn and do every day. I am constantly amazed at how much they love each other. I can tell that they knew each other and were good friends before their life here. Fox is so interested in his baby brother and is always wanting to share with him and hold him. Cache lights up when he sees Fox; he will watch him play for hours and smiles great big smiles when Logan talks to him. And of course Fox thinks he is pretty cool when he makes his brother smile. Fox is such a great helper with Cache. Just the other day he ran into my room and told me he helped Cache roll over so he could be on his tummy. I then gratefully explained to Logan that this is a job just for mommies and daddies.

Cache looks HUGE in this picture. I love Fox's smile.

Fox is trying to put Cache's pants on him. He was getting very frustrated that Cache kept wiggling and kept asking me to tell Cache to hold still.

Best little buddies.

Fox is way interested in all of Cache's things and thankfully Cache loves having his brother in his space.

When Cache is on the floor, Logan will randomly run over to him, get on his knees and give Cache a big old kiss. So cute!

He loves to share his toys with his brother....for now (only because Cache can't really play with them). I know that will change before I know it, but for now I am enjoying it.

Best buds

Fox loves his dad! They are the best of pals lately. Everything Joe does, Logan wants to do too. They have so much fun together. Joe is an awesome dad and I know Cache is going to idolize his daddy too! Here are some pictures of Fox and Joe taken over the past few weeks.

Cache Kent Green

Cache was born on Tuesday, May 5th at 10:26 in the morning. Joe and I checked into the hospital at 7:00 to get induced and a few short hours later we were holding Cache. He is a great addition to our little family and we are SO happy to have him in our home. We have been very excited and a little scared to see how it will be to have 2 kids. It has only been a few days, but so far everything is going great. Cache sleeps a lot and we look forward to seeing his eyes more over the next few weeks. Logan loves his little brother. He is constantly requesting to "hold it." One of the first things he asks about every morning is baby Cache. He hasn't shown any jealousy yet, but time will tell how that goes. Joe was able to take the whole week off work and that has been WONDERFUL! I wish he could stay home all of the time. It is so nice to see him so much, but someone has to bring home the bacon. Logan has had a blast with his dad. I know I am terrible at blogging, but I thought I would make a post and I am telling myself (again) that I am going to start blogging regularly. We will see.

Baby Cache

Fox is so happy to be a big brother.

The first time Logan saw Cache he reached out his arms, started shaking them, and said "Hold it Baby Cache."

What a sweet boy!
